Saturday 2nd December European Darts Open 2017 Registration 10am - 11am. Start time12pm. Anyone not registered at the desk in the venue by 11am will be disqualified.
Sunday 3rd December WDS Associates Junior World Darts Championship 2017 Registration 9am - 10am. Start time 11am. Anyone not registered at the desk in the venue by 10am will be disqualified. This is an hour earlier than the European event.
European Open
Format for the European open is - Best of 11 legs straight KO all the way through. Approximate finish time 4pm
The final will take place on stage the same evening at 6pm.

This event is open to anyone aged between 10 and 18 that comes from a European Country.
World Championship
Format for the World Championship is - Round Robin 8 groups 5 players in each group. Best of 5 legs each match ( all legs to be played) Top 2 players from each group qualify to the last 16 players.
All games in the last rounds of 16,8,& Semi final’s will be best of 9 legs. Approximate finish time 5pm
NB - THE ACTUAL FINAL WILL BE PLAYED ON STAGE DURING THE WILLIAM HILL WORLD DARTS CHAMPIONSHIP 2018 AT ALEXANDRA PALACE LONDON SATURDAY DECEMBER 16TH.

MARKING - Players are asked to mark as above. If you cannot mark you must find someone suitable and suitably dressed to mark. IT IS THE PLAYERS RESPONSIBILITY
Mobile telephones must be on silent and taking photographs of the players is forbidden during tournament play in the Arena. This will be strictly marshalled by officials.
Spectators entry is £5
As this is an U18’S tournament alcohol is strictly forbidden.
Parents and spectators are reminded to be respectful at all times to players and officials.
Dress code - players are expected to wear collared darts shirt, trousers and shoes. No trainers, no jeans and no football colours.
NB - There will be a welcome party where competitors can relax and practice from 7pm-9pm on Friday 1st of December at the venue upstairs within the head quarters of the JDC.
This will be an opportunity for media teams to take pictures , social media updates etc. Also 9am - 10am on Sunday 3rd ITV will be interviewing and filming for ITV’s THE DARTS SHOW prior to the event.

SUPERSTARS TO COMPETE AT BRISTOL SHOWDOWN
Some of the world’s greatest Darts players, including 16-time World Champion Phil Taylor and world number one Michael van Gerwen, are set to collide when Bristol hosts an exciting night of arrows action in December.
In addition to the two players widely regarded as the best ever professional darters, Nowhere To Hide, will also feature current PDC world number three and UK Open champion Peter ‘Snakebite’ Wright.
Other names in the star-studded line-up include van Gerwen’s Dutch compatriot Vincent van der Voort and entertaining former pro turned pundit and commentator Wayne Mardle.
Pride of the local area will also be on show in the form of former World Championship finalist Mark Dudbridge, Steve Brown – who has appeared at the World Championship six times – and his son, John, a rising star on the PDC’s Development Tour and a product of his father’s brainchild the Junior Darts Corporation (JDC). 17-year-old Dutch sensation Justin van Tergouw completes the field of talent on show. Van Tergouw has been touted as one of the stars of the future and won the 2017 BDO World Youth Championship.
