Former BDO World Youth champion Colin Roelofs is among the four qualifiers who came through the qualifiers to reach the inaugural JDC European Darts Championship.
The evenementenhal in Venray hosted the first ever Junior Dutch and Belgium Darts Masters with four tickets to the European Championships up for grabs. Six Belgian players competed for one ticket with Erik Meyers taking the honours after beating Viani van den Bergh in a close final 5-3.
Recent Danish Youth Master Wessel Nijman came through the field of 124 Dutch youngsters to claim his place in Brean Sands by beating Marvin van Velzen 5-3. Colin Roelofs who is the 2015 BDO World Youth Champion and 2014 World Youth Masters champion whitewashed Levy Frauenfelder in the decider to claim his place. Dutch international Frauenfelder would bounce back though as he took the third Dutch qualifying place by beating Marvin van Velzen in a dramatic sudden-death leg with a 146 finish.
The four qualifiers will join Justin van Tergouw and Maikel Verberk to represent Belgium and The Netherlands at the European Championship in September in Brean Sands.
