The Scott Farms International Junior Darts Tour returns to Manchester with another double header in the North West.
The Scott Farms Junior Darts Tour has just two double header events to run this year, and next up is Rileys Chorlton. A venue for the 2018 tour, the JDC returns to the North West to see out its 7th and 8th events. So much to play for on the JDC circuit has seen already 92 players compete in this years event.
Not suprisingly, attracting top junior players around the UK and Europe to have the opportunity to acheive so many things. Not only does the tour pay out £3000 in prize money, the event offers the opportunity for players to qualify for the Junior World Darts finals in Gibraltar to ultimately have a crack at making it to Ally Pally in December.
The top 3 positioned players in the Tour OOM will also become JDC ALLSTARS which is another great opportunity for players to play the best in the world in some great events run by JDC partners Modus Events & Management. In addition the top 3 players in the tour OOM eligible to play in the 2020 Unicorn Development Tour will be granted a PDPA Scholarship to play in the competition for free.
Current placings on the OOM sees Leighton Bennett out front in dominant style winning four out of the first 6 events. Sitting in the top 4 also finds previous tour winners, James Beeton, and Keelan Kay.
In fourth spot is the current JDC European Champion Brad Phillips followed closely by 2018 world finalist Lennon Cradock. Henry Coates and Nathan Care are close behind the leading pack.
The final tour event will be held in Worcester on June 1st and the final placings will be decided. The JDC then move on to its second tour of 2019 the Rileys Super 16 Tour resulting in 2 finalists playing the final out on stage at the PDC Masters event in Milton Keynes in early 2020.
