The Junior section of Hannover 96 Darts spent the day at JDC HQ on a weeks visit to the UK. Teaming up with affiliated academy the JCDA in Derby on Monday night the youngsters got to see an academy session in progress and meet up with PDC Star Jamie Caven owner of the JCDA.

Hannover 96 founded in 1896 to which it gets its name, has many sporting faculties to its club. The darts section now has 14 young players in its ranks and seven of them made the trip to the UK. The young players would go through the JDC grading process in Bristol and establish a handicap that is used by hundreds of children in academies across the world. Once graded the players would take part in a Greenzone tournament using the bespoke JDC handicap system. 7 very talented players didn't fail to impress.

JDC Director Darren Barson commented,

"It was a pleasure to meet the club of Hannover 96. Andreas is doing an amazing job over in Germany and we had some really great conversations. The players are fantastic, we had 14 dart legs , 180's and exceptional finishing all day. We hope to meet up again soon and discuss adding more to the relationship with the club."
