WELCOME TO THE JUNIOR DARTS CORPORATION

The Junior Darts Corporation has appointed long-serving Operations Manager Darren Barson to its Board of Directors. Barson has been a key member of the JDC since its inception in 2011, when it was known as the Steve Brown Darts Academy.

He has played a pivotal role in launching academies across the UK and, more recently, the introduction of the MODUS UK Tour.

He joins Chairman Steve Brown, Michael Van Gerwen, Jason Thame and Jamie Cooper on the JDC's Board.

Brown said: "Darren has been at my side for almost seven years and is an integral member of our team.

"Alongside his full time job Darren has made huge sacrifices to ensure the future of the game is run in a reputable and professional manner.

"I am delighted to welcome him to the Board as he takes up his role as Director of Operations with immediate effect."
