JDC Q - School this weekend will ignite the JDC Tours for 2021
The first JDC in person darts tournament since March 2020 will be staged this weekend in the shape of the new JDC Q-School tournament. Orginally planned for January the tournament will be staged over two days this weekend and is the pre curser to the years events.
JDC Q-School will offer the opportunity for any player of qualifying age to attempt to gain a tour card to participate in the JDC Advanced Tour 2021. The Advanced Tour is an exclusive opportunity for the best 32 players to battle it out over 12 events and a huge prize fund of £10,000. Not only that, all 32 players will gain a place in the JDC Junior World Darts Championship finals later in the year, ultimately finding a world champion at the Alexandra Palace London in December.
11 tour cards are available this year from Q-School and for those that don't claim a place in the Advanced Tour this year, players will be able to compete on the JDC's Foundation Tour 2021 where at the end of the tour the top 4 placed players in the tour order of merit will recieve a tour card for 2022 saving them attending next years Q-School. In addition to that the top 4 players will also be invited to play in the JDC World Championship finals later this year.
The Foundation tours and Advanced tours will be held on the same weekends throughout the summer and all will be staged at the Oaklands Darts center in Cinderford Gloucestershire. Until the final step of releasing restrictions in June the players will play behind closed doors. Matches can be viewed on DartConnect and selected matches will be live streamed to the JDC'S Youtube Channel.
