Buster Turner is off to Cardiff.
Buster Turner has qualified for the Champion of Champions this weekend by winning a qualifying event at Bar 501 in Bristol last week.
The 15 yr old youngster who made a JDC tour final in Benfleet Essex earlier this year capped off an outstanding day with a 2-0 victory over JDC chairman Steve Brown in the final. Turner who has been playing regularly in the Southampton Darts Series with the likes of PDC regulars, Simon Whitlock and Richard North at the Bittern Park Club, is undoubtably paying off. The club is also home to the JDC Southampton Darts Academy. Director Laurence Dowding commented:
" we were there to support Buster on the day and we are not suprised that Buster qualified. He is throwing really well at the minute and has his sights set on the JDC Tour this year and of course Cardiff on Saturday".
Buster sits 13th in the JDC Tour OOM and may still qualify for the JDC World Finals and bag a team England place with the remaining 3 events of 2018 in Exeter, Solihull and finally in Wolverhampton in November.
